Hi, I’m Fumi (Fumie / 文恵), a Japanese Language & Culture Guide based in Tokyo.

I started Emiful Japan because I believe language is one of the best ways to understand people.

When we learn a language, we begin to notice different ways of seeing, feeling, and talking about the world.

My hope isn't simply to teach Japanese.

It's to help you feel more connected to Japan—through the language, the people, and the everyday moments that often go unnoticed.
