Depending on how you use Emiful Japan, I may collect information such as your name, email address, account information, purchase information, booking or lesson information, and information you choose to provide through forms or messages.

I may use your information to:

• provide and manage Emiful Japan services;

• create and manage your account and access to purchased resources;

• process purchases and bookings;

• communicate with you about your purchases, bookings, lessons, or requests;

• provide customer support; and

• maintain and improve Emiful Japan services.

Payments may be processed through Square. Emiful Japan does not directly store your full credit or debit card details.

Emiful Japan uses third-party service providers when necessary to provide its services, including services for account authentication, payments, website hosting, and online forms.

These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services and are subject to their own privacy policies and terms.

Emiful Japan does not sell your personal information.

Personal information may be shared when necessary to provide the services you request, when required by law, or in other circumstances permitted by applicable law.

Emiful Japan takes reasonable measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.

Personal information is kept for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Emiful Japan services, maintain appropriate business and transaction records, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

This Privacy Policy may be updated when Emiful Japan’s services or the way personal information is handled changes.

Emiful Learning Tools are digital learning tools available through My Page.

Each tool is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription fee. Before purchasing, you can try a sample from the tool on My Page.

After your purchase is completed, the tool will be available from My Page.

Because Emiful Learning Tools are digital products that become available after purchase, returns and refunds for change of mind are not accepted after purchase.

If you experience a technical problem with your purchase or believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact Emiful Japan.

You need an Emiful Japan account to access purchased tools. No password is required; a verification code is sent to your email address when you sign in.

An internet connection may occasionally be required to sign in again.

There is no set expiration date for purchased tools. You can continue to access them from My Page without a recurring subscription fee.

 However, Emiful Japan may update, modify, or discontinue a tool or the Learning Tools service in the future. 

Lessons can generally be booked until 5:00 PM (Japan Standard Time) on the day before the lesson. Bookings may be made through the online booking system or arranged directly with Emiful Japan by email or message.

Payment is generally made by credit card. Other payment methods may be available when arranged directly with Emiful Japan.

Additional transportation fees may apply to in-person lessons, as shown on the Japanese Lessons page.

Lessons may be changed or cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

Changes or cancellations made within 24 hours are generally non-refundable.

Your Walk & Talk booking is confirmed after payment is completed. Payment details will be provided after your request has been reviewed and the date and time have been arranged.

Walk & Talk may be changed or cancelled up to 5 days before the scheduled date.

Cancellations made within 5 days of the scheduled date are non-refundable.

If your plans change, I’ll do my best to accommodate a change of date or time when availability allows.

Food, drinks, transportation, and admission fees for both the guest(s) and the guide are not included in the Walk & Talk price.

Walk & Talk usually takes place rain or shine. If severe weather, major transportation disruptions, or other circumstances make the experience difficult or unsafe, I’ll contact you to discuss the best option, such as changing the time, date, or plan.

If I need to cancel your Walk & Talk and we cannot arrange another suitable date or time, you will receive a full refund.
